25: A Year of Building

The year I leaned fully into building. Took the engineering lead role at Brite-Nites, shipped more code than any previous year, and started treating my tools and processes with the same care as the products.

What worked

• Committing to a single stack (Next.js + Prisma + Supabase) and going deep
• Daily use of AI coding tools — not as a crutch, but as a multiplier
• Reading more books and taking actual notes

What didn't

• Not enough time outside. Screens won too many hours.
• Started too many side projects, finished too few.

Next year

Build this site. Write more. Ship fewer things but ship them better.
